More than 1.6 million people throughout Honduras have been affected by Hurricane Eta. The country is yet to fully recover from Hurricane Mitch which hit 22 years ago, and the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has left them with scarce resources to respond to Hurricane Eta.
