Memorial donations are a way to celebrate the life of a loved who was passionate about serving those in need. Donations can be gifted to a specified country or program that your loved one cared about, or can be given to support the Ministry’s greatest need. Many prefer to request donations to Medical Ministry International in lieu of flowers as a way of honoring their loved one.

Please contact the office if you would like donation cards available at a Memorial Service.

We would also like to hear from you if you are considering remembering your loved one this way - we can gather your information so you will be notified when a donation in memory of your loved one is made and ensure donations are addressed to and allocated correctly.

Including Medical Ministry International in your long-term financial plans can provide financial stability for the organization so we can continue providing health care services throughout the world for years to come.

We recommend consulting a financial planner or lawyer as you consider your legacy gift.

1. Decide on a Type of Legacy Gift

• Leave a residual gift - this is a percentage or the amount of your assets after other gifts and debts are paid

• Leave a specified gift to Medical Ministry International in your Will

• Donate stocks that will be valued on the day of receipt

• request donations in lieu of flowers at your Celebration of Life (see above)

3. Bequeath Your Gift

Suggested wording for a residual gift: “I bequeath the residue of my Estate (or _______% of the residue of my Estate) to Medical Ministry International for such use and purpose as the Board of Directors may determine in their absolute discretion.”

Suggested wording for a specified amount: “I bequeath the sum of $_______ to Medical Ministry International for such use and purpose as the Board of Directors may determine in their absolute discretion.”
